A Family Business
Owner and director Franca Gulino has made it her purpose to create a unique & modern B&B in a tradition & historical building. Located in the heart of Ragusa Ibla, steps away from the Church of San Giorgio, Le Sirene B&B has been in service for over 10 years. With an eye for design and a lifetime of style Franca has mixed modern with traditional, conserving the original concept of “Bed & Breakfast” and transforming it into a luxury experience. At Le Sirene, customer service is our specialty, putting emphasis on your stay in Sicily as a cultural and culinary experience that you can take it at your own pace
A Unique History
The B&B is part of an old Sicilian Villa, dating back about 100 years ago. The stones were brought up from the valley by horse-drawn cart and laid by hand in the center of the city. Unlike most building in the historic center, Le Sirene still holds the original decree of construction from 1920, when the owner’s great-grandfather Giorgio Gulino, decided to start construction on Via Maria Paternò Arezzo. The building has seen many changes and has been passed from many hands, until Le Sirene opened its doors in 2009. Upon entering the B&B, you can still marvel at the original stone masonry, where blocks of lime- and sandstone still rest after 100 years…
